Moorgate was established in 1990 originally to provide refurbished systems and upgrades to the AS/400 market place. Quality and service have always been the main aims of the company. We have always maintained that buying refurbished equipment should not mean that you lack the backup associated with the IBM Business Partner community.
In 1997, we achieved the ISO 9000 quality standard, which we have maintained, incorporating a quality standard to include the work in our warehouse, which guarantees that the equipment we supply is of the highest standards.
We have experienced technical staff, who are also there to help at every stage of evaluation and even after the sale, should you need any further help. We also sell and install equipment to meet the standards required for IBM maintenance.
In terms of hardware, we can supply the full complement of IBM products. Over time, we have moved into other arenas, mainly in or around what has now been renamed the system i (Power systems) marketplace.
Business critical printing has always been one of our major strengths. We understand that if printing stops, your business can grind to a halt and we will work with you to tailor the best solution to stop this happening.
We also have tools to evaluate the traffic on your network printing environment to look at solutions to reduce your costs significantly.
Our experience in printing brought us first into the barcoding environment and more recently into the area of RFID solutions – working with customers to look at how these solutions can be integrated into their business. We work with both passive and active solutions.
Moorgate specialise in providing software solutions for managing archiving, document management and distribution of electronic documents. We have recently gained accreditation as the only Partner in the UK for the document management solution we recommend – MappingSuite.
This powerful tool allows you to create, print, archive and electronically distribute your documents (via fax, email and the web). Originally developed for iSeries users, this tool can now be used across all platforms.
